Juerg Greter advises domestic and international families and private clients (HNI) in all areas. He is an expert on American and international tax legislation, on cross-border structures as well as on estate planning.
Juerg Greter studied law at the University of Freiburg i.Ue. and obtained 1991 his Master’s Degree in Law (lic. utr. iur.). He was admitted to the Zurich Bar in 1996 and to the New York Bar in 2000. Juerg Greter continued his academic education in the United States, where in 1993 he earned an LL.M. in Common Law Studies at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. and in 2000 an LL.M. in International Taxation at New York University School of Law.
1993 - 1999 Juerg Greter was an intern with Baker & McKenzie and worked later as an attorney with a Zurich law firm and a major Swiss bank. 2000 - 2004 he was head of KPMG Private in Zurich. 2004 - 2012 Juerg Greter worked with the law firm MGR Meier Greter Attorneys in Zurich as Managing Partner. 2013 he founded Greter & Partners Attorneys Ltd.
Juerg Greter speaks German, English, Italian and French. He is registered in the attorneys‘ register of the Canton of Zurich and is admitted as attorney in New York (USA).
